Arizona summers can get seriously hot – the kind of heat that makes you dream of swimming holes, shade trees, and something cold in your hand.
So lately, I’ve been experimenting with easy, refreshing snacks that help beat the heat without a ton of effort. That’s how these creamy lavender popsicles came to life, and honestly? They’ve become a staple in our freezer.
I make them using our Sedona Calm Butta – a smooth, naturally flavored buttermilk infused with real lavender. It’s soothing, light, and just floral enough to make each bite feel like a mini escape to the desert after sunset.
These pops are so simple to throw together – just a few wholesome ingredients, no fancy equipment, and no weird stuff. The combo of Butta’s creaminess with the subtle floral note is surprisingly refreshing and… kinda magical, not gonna lie.
This recipe makes about 10 popsicles (depending on mold size) and takes just 10 minutes to prep – the rest is just waiting for that perfect freeze!
What you’ll need:
- 2 cups of Sedona Calm lavender Butta
- 1/2 cup honey (or your favorite natural sweetener)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: a few fresh lavender leaves or a handful of berries for a little extra something
How to make ’em:
- In a bowl, mix together the Butta, honey, and vanilla until everything’s smooth and well blended.
- If you’re feeling fancy, add a few lavender leaves or some berries into your popsicle molds.
- Pour the mix into molds, insert the sticks, and freeze for 4-6 hours (or overnight if you’re patient).
- When you’re ready to enjoy, let them sit at room temp for a couple of minutes – makes it way easier to pull them out cleanly.
And that’s it! A creamy, cooling treat with a calming twist – like a breath of fresh air in the middle of a hot desert afternoon. These popsicles are perfect for lazy summer days, post-hike rewards, or just treating yourself to a little quiet moment.
